I’ve been tip-toeing my way into social networking and recently, enjoying Twitter. Well, I’ve only been at it a week, but now I tune in when I see a “Follow me on Twitter” button on sites I go to and enjoy. It’s like a treasure hunt. I never know what I’m going to find when I follow my favorite sites and bloggers.
Recently, I went to Starbucks.com - not just because I love strong coffee, but also because I like their Shared Planet area. Thought I’d share a little win-win promo I found. Did you know that when you bring in your own reusable mugs, they’ll take $0.10 off your drink price? It’s true.
It’s all part of an effort to reduce our environmental footprint! I signed on to pledge my commitment. How about you?

Twitter is such a funny thing. I started using it because it was the “cool” thing to do at my company. Even though it can be a little nerdy, you really can learn more about people. Even though it’s used a lot to make some “clever” remark, I’ve also seen it used to help people. It’s a fast way to get the word out.
